Frequently Asked Questions
When and where do you walk?
Roughly, we walk (rain or shine) every Friday at 3:30PM PT in Lower Queen Anne. Our walks tend to last for about one hour and we walk a total of 2 miles.
I’m (insert age/relationship status/parental status here). Is this walk for me?
Yes, of course! You will find community with your brothers at our walks no matter your age, marital status, or number of kids (or pets).
What do you guys do?
We walk, and we talk. That’s it. There’s no set topic or agenda. We just ask you to show up and be open to chatting. Bring whatever is on your mind or your heart!
What if I want to walk closer to my neighborhood?
Let’s do it! Our hope is that men will start walks in each of their own neighborhoods, wherever that may be. To learn about how to start your own walk check out our WTM FAQ page and our Resources page.
Are there any rules?
Outside the obvious (like be respectful of one another), our only rules are (a) limit politics, (b) no solicitations, and (c) be your authentic self while accepting the authentic self of others.
How do I join?
Just show up! No need to register or pay a fee, just lace up and join us. We wait for about ten minutes before taking off for our walk. We tend to break up into smaller groups and have myriad small group conversations over the hour!
